Introduction
Department of General Studies (JPA) is the academic department that is
responsible for assisting the main academic departments in the handling
of the teaching and learning process. Department of General Studies has
an important mission to provide formal education and informal for the
Islamic Education, Moral Education, Islamic Civilization, OSHA,
Softskill, PolyBrigade and also English modules.
Department of
General Studies Muadzam Shah Polytechnic is led by Miss Foo Kiam Kooi
and there are 14 lecturers that are under her supervision, along with 1
lab assistant and 1 office general assistant.
Besides being
envolved academicly, Department of General Studies is also active in
bringing up the ‘Kelab Kesenian dan Kebudayaan’, consisting more than
100 students as it’s members, with a few lecturers and staffs as
coordinators and trainers.

General Studies Department is ONE of the TWO
support department available in Muadzam Shah Polytechnic. Therefore,
General Studies Department provides supportive courses for the
completion of main programs offered by the FIVE main department. Courses
